Join us for a special experience as a Jewish doctor who is visiting Rome to attend a medical conference in 2018 travels back in time in a medical historical odyssey. We will see Italy through the eyes of Italian Jewish physicians from the past to the present. We will meet descendants of famous Jewish physicians of the Renaissance, visit one of the world’s greatest libraries, viewing manuscripts and incunabula, while making an unexpected discovery, and chat with the chief rabbi of Rome, who as a physician and rabbi is continuing an age-old Italian tradition. (Please make sure to renew your passports for both conventional and time travel.)
